James Lin, M.D.
Dr. Lin graduated from the seven-year accelerated BS/MD program at The College of New Jersey and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. During medical school, he was the recipient of the prestigious Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital as chief resident. He then completed his retina fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami, which is consistently ranked as the #1 eye hospital in the world. Previously, Dr. Lin was Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center where he was a vitreoretinal specialist. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals including research on retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, and healthcare economics in the field of retina. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist and is a fellow of the American Society of Retina Specialists (FASRS). Dr. Lin is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Vit-Buckle Society. Dr. Lin is excited and committed to bringing excellent care to the community.
