Brett J. Rosenblatt, MD
Dr. Rosenblatt moved to Philadelphia and completed his internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center where he received the Glaxo-Wellcome award for outstanding intern. Remaining in Philadelphia, he then went to Wills Eye Hospital for his ophthalmology residency. After serving as Chief Resident at Wills, he moved to St. Louis to receive his Vitreoretinal fellowship training with Barnes Retina Institute at Washington University.
Dr. Rosenblatt has published numerous peer reviewed articles and authored several book chapters. Along with his partners at Long Island Vitreoretinal Consultants of NY, he continues to dedicate time to the type of clinical research that will likely dramatically improve the care of his patients suffering from vision threatening retinal diseases.
Dr. Rosenblatt’s areas of expertise include retinal detachment repair, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, and vein occlusions.
It is an ongoing goal of his to provide his patients with the best possible care, utilizing the best technology and medical advances in a personalized caring manner. Dr. Rosenblatt is accepting new patients and is available at our Hauppauge and Riverhead retina centers in New York.
